I picked up large nail in my back tire. The slime held the air in but i need to fix it. Will a plug hold in an ATV tire??? Will the slime keep it from sticking ???

Thanks

A plug will hold for awhile, but the best thing to do is take it to a tire store & have it patched.

Good Luck

Have seen a good plug job last until the tire wore out.

I carry a plug kit at all times, and I have used 2-3 plugs in one large hole, as well as 3 singles on the same tire that held for 2years in a super swamper. If green slime is in the tire a plug will all ways reseat, even if it gets pulled a little while riding. Good Luck.

if you use the type of plug that they use for automobile tires it will last the life of your tire if installed correctly

My 335 has about 8 plugs between the front two tires. I can't believe how weak those stock Titans are. I ride pretty hard and have yet to have a plug fail me.

Plugs are all I ever used. My tires are full of them. I look at it this way: If I plug a tire 6-8 times in it's wear-lifetime; then I've saved enough money (6 bucks a flat) to buy a new tire. Plugs work great and are very convenient. Plug That Rascal. ride'em hard Polcat

Had a large nail in one of the rear tires on my 2000 Maganum back in early July, plug seems to be working just fine.
