Default Pred owners, check your battery!

My brothers pred after a little stop would not start. After jump starting it, he got back to his truck. Check everything over and still would not do a thing. Brought it home and put a charger on it, and after many hrs, still no starting. Then he took his battery out and noticed the bottom of the battery where it sits on the subframe was worn out to a point it put a hole in the battery, thus all the acid was gone. It looks like the little movement back and forth (plus he rides hard) wears the bottom out. On each side of the battery going the whole width and about a inch wide was worn down a lot compared to the middle. So look at yours and see if your battery is wearing too. To solve the problem, all it looks like you need to do, is put some kind of matting under the battery. I thought I would warn you before it happens to you. He was by himself, and pushing and jumping it took a toll on him. He was beat.
