2 more Polaris atv's coming?
 

DW has the 05 Polaris line up in there Oct. mag. They give all the new ATV's for 05 except the SP800. They show the Phoenix and the SP700MV. But they go on to say and I quote, " with at least two new models yet to be announced later this year". Now they don't show the sp800, but I can't think of any other. Has anyone heard of what else would come out.

By the way, they liked the new Predator a lot.

I saw that to hopefully they have a 450 pred or a 250 with dual a-arms, manual, and lighter.

It was more of a short fact article then a real test. They did say the 800efi has 17% - 25% more power than the700efi (depending on the rpm). They did ride one and they said " It's a top-of-the-line performer "

I do think there will be one more ATV, they will prolly come out with it when they drop the Ranger XP and the 05 Watercraft in September.....

since we are on the topic of new polaris atv's...what does polaris hope to accomplish with the phoenix?..it doesnt seem like something all that special?...im not saying its gonna be a bad machine or anything but who is it supposed to comepete with?..and like DG said..why dont they put dual a-arms and manual trannys on their sports quads? minus the pred

i would have to say that their auto trany is awesome and the strut front end gives the tightest turning radius.

It is suppose to compete with the other 250 cc class beginner machines (bayou, 250ex, z250, ect) and probably a replacement for the trailblazer

its also only 3000 bucks which is a lot less then competitors. And they are probably going to add like a 400 phoenix to the lineup hint the website which makes you click 2005>phoenix>200.
