Got some ship dates on some 05's-not good
 

My dealer told me today he has one standard Pred with a ship date of the 15th of this month. There next one will be some time in Oct. There SP 800 and Phenoix(sp) will be in Dec. And Finally the TLD that I have ordered, Feb of 05. I don't know if any will come sooner, but this is what Polaris gave him for dates.

February seems a little off,but maybe it is.I would think it would be alot earlier than that,becuase february is just 4 or 5 months before they start showing the 06 models.

The reason is, because thats the dates the dealer put them to come. Try a different dealer. When the dealers do ordering they choose all the quads, and the month they come.

The only reason why I think it will take so long is because of the different tranny. So they must be getting all the standard ones made first, then the TLD. Plus there are some major changes between models. All the 450R's and YFZ had to do was change the graphics and call it a 05. Polaris has to change many things, so I'm sure it took some time to switch models from 04-05. Maybe I'll get the standard.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

He told me they choose the quads, but Polaris decides when to ship. But hopefully someone else will get a different answer.

I got off the phone earlier with the polaris dealer in Tenn. and he said that the std. Pred. has been shipped out already, and the TLD should be here by frist week of Oct. That is long enough. I will not wait until feb. to get the TLD, I will go with the std. Pred. I have been a month with out a quad. This is KILLING ME!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

Talked to a couple more dealers today, and the earliest that one of them had for a TLD Predator was a ship date sometime in Nov. If they come out that late, I will wait until spring to get one. No sense having it sit most of the winter. The 04 still runs great.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

actually GE... the 05 yfz's got alot more than what you think... a new head, re valved shocks, different shifter and break lever... and a few other things... its not like polaris threw an 05 tld together for the 50th bash... they had it welled planned out and i am sure that wasnt the only one made... i think feb 5th is BS.... you should have it sooner.
