Tailgate Ramp- won't even work with most quads
#11
It's not like that I'm just saying that for $700 a person would be better off getting a trailer or a set of aluminum ramps cause the way the ramp folds up and locks into place of your tailgate most quads wouldn't fit into the back of the truck. It's a decent idea but I can't see paying $700 for the thing when you can buy other options for less. I don't want to give anyone the impression that I hate this company or anything, I just don't like the thing for $700. I got a brand new two place Triton tilt for $981 out the door, I could have gone with a cheaper brand but I believe you get what you pay for.

the local lawnmower shop has something like this on the back of their service truck
its a 2 piece,,,that when closed is about 4' high (8 foot total length)
its spring loaded and opens/closes really easy
I too could think of a better way to spend $700

well if it doenst fit in your truck then dont buy the ramps... simple as that. my uncles 700efi will fit in the back of my dads ford. but if you prefer a trailerthen buy it, if you prefer your pick up bed buy ramps.

sorry if I have offended anyone, I didn't realize an 800 would fit in the back of a new ford with the tailgate closed. I wish chevy and dodge could add a few more inches so the tailgate would close with a larger quad in the back. I bought the trailer for when I haul my quad and my wifes quad, I like my tri-fold ramp for hauling just the one quad. during winter I will probably use the trailer more to haul the quad since I have the plow attached.

my tailgate almost closes on the mazda....i use a webbing strap to hold it in place. o ya ... i put it in backwards so the winch dosent go through the windshield!...look at my pics......i just lock my ramp upin the back of the truck.

It does seem somewhat expensive. However, for someone that needs to load and unload an ATV many times each day and does not want a trailer, this solution looks like it could be quite useful. I like my trailer because I open the door and it becomes a large ramp. This solution for the pickup seems similar only no trailer. I think of it more as a convenience.

the bed of a f-250 is 6 1/2 feet, when the 800 is in there, its not even touching the glass and theres 3 inches to spair in the bed, and PLENTY of width, even in my brothers tiney half ton F-150, it snuggly fits with the tailgate closed, everything made by americans is big, polaris, ford, same thing
