Well at last . It's ALIVE. Tha Scrambler is ALIVE. It breathes
Well guys and girls, after almost a complete strip down and replacing about $800 worth of parts with doing it myself today for about 10 minutes I rode my Scrambler and you talk about being awesome !!! Every thing works as it should since I'm very thorough when I work on anything but I do have one question since this is my first off-road vehicle. How much toe-in do I need since the machine starts to wander quite a lot after about 20 mph and the front end s very tight ( I used over sized tie-rod ends ) plus new lower and upper bearings with tires. All I would like to say is WAH HA !! Even though that is not an English word I do believe it conveys the moment. Great job Raziel!!!! Don't you love it when a plan comes together!!!!!
About the tow. Castor makes a big difference when it comes to wandering. Tow plays a very small roll. I have no idea how the front ends are set up on the scrambler, but if you can adjust the castor that's where I would go first. On the tow, I would go straight up on the spec's. If you go about an 1/8 towed out it will handle a touch better in the turns. If you go an 1/8 towed in it will handle a bit better at high speed straight line. Again, nice job. Not too many people can do an A to Z in a rebuild. Have fun with your NEW Scrambler!!!! |

Well it's been working just great and so far I've ridden it for about 1.5 hours on my property which is pure woodlands. I will get some pictures up as soon as I can get this HP 500c camera to work but anyhow just letting you guys know how much fun this is. As for the question what was done I think I would list what was not done to make it easier
