Default sweet deal on 800 Headpipes/snorkles

Don't buy off EBAY go to www.polarisoemparts.com anything over $50 is FREE SHIPPING

I got all the part numbers for the Header pipe and the snorkle mods. they go as follows:
800 Headpipe MOD
Header pipe- 1261445-029 $74.99
(3)Heat shields- 5244014 $3.32, 5248703 $1.46, 5248702 $1.46
Header to cylinder gasket- 5811511 $18.32
Header pipe to muffler seal- 3610047 $12.49

800 AIRBOX SNORKLE MOD
Airduct/snorkle- 5435932 $19.16
Airduct/snorkle gasket- 5411422 $3.96

both of these mods can be done without replacing the gaskets/seals due to them being the same part number as stock 600/700/800 models are all the same part number. the 800 header mod without gaskets will cost $81.23 and the Airduct/snorkle modwithout the gasket is $19.16. It woult make more sense to order the snorkle at the same time as the headpipe cause then you wouldn't have to pay any shipping due to it all being over $50.

make sure you let the EFI calibrate for the mods when you install them, my dealer told me that when you install mods to the engine that to start it up do quarter throttle, half throttle and full throttle in 10 seconds then turn it off and restart it. donno if this helps

The EFI does not recalibrate for more air unless reprogrammed using either the dealers computer or the Power Commander. The procedure you mentioned is not in the service manual.

hey texmud, can my dealer recalibrate my machines stock control moduel without adding a powercommander??? I am reluctant to do modifications to mine without knowing this, and later having to spend the extra $250.00/$300.00 for a power commander.

What are these mods that you are talking about? Header and snorkle mods... Where do you find the info for them on the net?

I ordered several parts from the source provided above, but they don't have the 800 snorkel in stock and it's back ordered by Polaris until mid-April. Seems like this is a popular mod based on availability issues.

that about figures huh. well I am not going to order the header until the air snorkle is available because to just order the snorkle you have to pay shipping because the order wouldn't be over $50. I need to save up for our hatfield trip right now anyways but after that I am planning on ordering the headpipe and snorkle.

I had them back order the snorkel as opposed to giving me a refund or canceling the order. They didn't ask for any shipping $. My original order was over $50.
