I cut a 1 inch hole in the back of my airbox i got my k and n filter in stock replacement, it runs a lot better but i was wondering has anyone took the breather tube off the runs from up there by the gas take to the bottom of the box, does it make a difference? thanks

 

Last night i took the boot that runs to the bottom of the airbox off and put a peice of prefilter over it and put my k and n in today i got it out , when i gave it gas it just stuttered and wouldnt go so i put the boot back on and it ran fine but i never changed the jet so..
