Oh-oh!. I'll have to check that out. I may have to make another trip to K-Mart. So if we need a dished in baseplate our choices are becoming more narrow.

Ya, The base plate needs to be dished in.

Just to add to the filter post, Polaris has a chrome filter available now. Just spin one on and steer clear of that mud hole

The Polaris ATV and the Victory Chrome Motorcycle filter are interchangeable.

I here tell, that you can also get chrome ones from EMGO through Shadetree.

I have been neither endorsing nor condemning Fram, merely offering alternatives to the factory filter.

I have "Ridden Red" and the experience has been enjoyable. 86 Goldwing Aspencade since new. Maintenance = oil changes, tire changes, brake pads and fork seals. That's it. (I have used J.C. Whitney filters in it since it was new) hehehe.

I have also driven/repaired "North Star" products since 1995. (Don't ask me about 3 chain 4WD reliability.)
