Help with 500ho rear axle
you should be able to tap on the bearing carrier and it should come off, however if it does not
you can pull both clamps off the outside boot ,slip it back up the shaft , the outside cv joint
will have a circle clip next to the shaft. the right tool works great but two small screwdrivers
will do the trick. pull the cv joint and bearing carrier off at the same time, slip off the outside
boot and the torn inside boot and replace.
