stupid 4X4 question
My 400 scrambler is my 1st 4X4 and I'm loading it up for my 1st ride with it and I noticed that the front drive shaft is rotating when in motion yet the 4X4 mode is off, is this normal? If so, is it just that the hubs engage on the fly wheen needed when 4X4 is turned on? Thanks.

Hi I believe so if it is like my 2004 400 Sportsman the axle turns and then when you lock it in it engages at the hub

North Ridgeville about 20 minutes west of Cleveland. Where do you ride? I just got back from Bear Creek which is just south of Canton. Good days ride (HOT) for $12. This was my first trip with scrammy and it screams. The only issue I have is the brakes but I have new pads for the rear, should do the trick.

Scrama, you ever ride Waynes National forest? I'm looking for a place to ride/camp that has a beginner area for my wife.

Most of the scramblers have the 4x4 set up that when you are spinning in the mud the 4x4 kicks in if you have the 4x4 on.
