Default 2006 Outlaw IRS sport quad

i had heard that to that it was a irs sport quad.hope its good. but wonder how heavy it is and irs in a sport quad i don't think it will slide very well

Well sport quads are not my thing much anymore, just passing on info for my fellow atv fans. I only see sport quads at the dunes and sand drags is where the racing takes place, so handeling packages are not that important, but power to the sand is and the YFZ 450's have been the only quads that I have ever seen that can hang with the banshee' sand DS's.

well ya never know, it could have a revolutionary sport independent rear and it surpasses ride quality, and achives that or slightly lower than that of the solid rear. it could be like the HUMVEE's suspention which is a solid axle independent hybrid

Sounds cool, hopefully this is just one of many new things from Polaris including some updates to the Gen3 line.

I dont see an irs quad being any good for jumps...the only thing I think of when i hear irs is boots....boots suck

if it has IRS its going to be g@y in my opinion, i want a quad that will compete with the new out of the box race quads, it'd be hard for them to pull off a MX race ready quad with IRS that doesnt weigh alot

but then again if you mess up a jump, the irs might make for a softer landing...like if you hit one side down before the other....

it wouldtn be chain drive lol, it'd be drive shaft, this new pred better have a swingarm thast all i have to say
