If you dont want the ebs to kick in while going downhill then all you have to do is tap the throttle and hold the brakes while going down.

There are alot of people that have the same comments about the ebs. I wondered myself about it when I went to the Hatfield/Mccoy trails on how well it would work in the mountains. I have the white polaris spring in the primary clutch. It gives me a higher engagement off the line. The spring was recommended by several people on this site for quicker acceleration. It also works great with the ebs. When I am descending a large hill I give the throttle a little crack just above idle and it works to disengage the ebs without making the quad take off and I can use the brakes to descend the hill without any sliding of the rear wheels. I hope this helps.

Try leaning back to get some more traction on the back wheels. I know it's hard when going downhill. brakes and a little burp of throttle to keep the wheels up to speed should help. It does seem wierd to give it gas while trying to stay slow but it will help overcome the ebs.
