I have a 00 magnum 325 and was wondering how do I get to the carburetor I can't get passed the air filter.

I haven't looked "under the hood" on the 325, but sounds like you'll have to pull the airbox. Should be easy enough.

I can't totally remember, but on the 325 engine, you should be able to get to the idle adjustment screw from the side. I think you can get to it with your hands from the left side of the vehicle. You should not have to remove the airbox for an idle adjustment. |
it's really easy - my dealer showed me how. Take off the seat, remove the plastic on the left side of the bike starting where the side panel meets the back fender. You just have to bend the side panel out and the plastic hangers let go. Look up behind it and coming out the bottom of the carb is a long adjustment screw. That's it ! Turn it in or out by hand according to where you want it and you're done. Pop the plastic side panel in place. They told me to set the idle with the bike in gear. If the idle is to high, the tranny will "crunch" when sliding into gear. Hope I've explained it well enough.
