Default another weekend on the polaris 800efi.another list of the parts staying on.

Lets see, took the usuall trip average 50 t0 70 miles per ride took off ran across the surface mine across fresh shots(thats rock and dirt from a blast to remove overburden to get to the coal) rock as big as wash tubs to maneuver around went through the gap and across the river(deep enough to get your butt wet} back through the shot through the trail as nice a trail as on any stae maintained system I might add stoped to launch are quads on the 330 foot pad where the guys get together to see who"s fast....made a run or too beat one 650 kawa and split a couple runs with a 750 Brute there faster I think depends on whos fastest on the trigger really...my gang consist of 2 800 EFI, 650 brute,700 prarie,2 700 EFI,2 carbed 700"s.......

no torn boots
no missing parts
no loose bolts
no melted plastic, but it does get hot..running extra tape here..
terrible gas milage though(it is a 800 lol)still 50 miles to the tank full but I still love my 800"s
there was hurt feelings (kawa buds at the launch pad)
My butt got wet{ but my belt stayed dry}
let"s see is this where im supposed to be disgruntled and become a jr. member of my buddies fan club? na,Hell,I really dig my ride"s......

confuses say: common sense will take you and your ride along way.....happy riding everybody!!!!!

p.s..Lighten up, Bio,It"s all in fun...........peace?

Man if your 800EFI is'nt falling appart I'm almost sure your doing something wrong here.
First of all boots rip if you look at them wrong, I have seen my tool kit floating through the air assembling themselfs and disassembling my 800,
the belt is an industrial rubber band etc. Go ahead and call me a Whiner this is what whiners do. I for one am use to it!!!

POl if your running a lot of brush or over tree limbs I cansee where you canhave signifiant problems with the boots.....when ya clean your quad up spray the boots with baby oil..no joke it helps..keeps them soft and more flexible....all my buds do it..no man,I aint gonna call ya a whiner Ive had some minor stuff too and good folks like you here on the forum helped me out......I havent seen any different boot gaurds Ive looked cause id probally buy them just for assurance against a boot rip...really dont see how you can do any better than the stock ones though.....one of my quads was built in march 05 the otherf in june 05 so maybe the stuff bionic has had happen is the result of a earlier build......good luck with your 800 bud...

Perky I read the forums every day and I've just had enough of every question on the 800 being trashed by Y.K.W.
Pretty soon the question at hand is off topic. As far as I'm concerned start a new topic every day if ya want, just don't go trashing
every question about the 800 and others. Bionic I feel for ya man, But get over it!!!!

Yah they do, but ya know It's just fun to race even if the bolts are falling off all over the place.
