I dont know if you have solved the problem but it could be as simple as a brocken wire down on your strut.I have a 02 500x sportsman, and one of my hubs would not lock.the problem was the coller over the magnet needed ajutment.A easy fix if you know what to loof for.

Default Question about Sportsman speedometer and 4wd

In 2000 Polaris for some strange reason Incorporated the $300+ Speedo in the AWDs operation. Good news is there is a by pass wiring procedure to get the AWD working normally with out a speedo, after all, every Polaris have the same AWD system yet not all models have a speedo.
