My favorite so far are the Fly 303's. I have about 5 different sets of gloves for riding lying around, and those are ALWAYS the first ones worn. My next purchase will be FOUR gloves though. Supposed to have some real nice features for ATV'ers like stretchy material on the thumb seam and gel/foam on the throttle thumb pad. Paintball gloves don't have the anti slip on the finger pads and can't be well padded(that would be cheating in paintball) so they are usually of pretty thin material.

I have Empire paintball gloves and I beg to differ they have a padded palm heavily padded knuckles and back of palm area and I,m a very aggressive rider who looks for the black trails at Paragon and Hatfield/mCcoy and they have never let me down . They're also at a great price at around 10 bucks, and I have seen many others that would fit anyones bill except maybe racers that need ultra tacky fingertips!! I got tired of spending $30 on Polaris gloves or any top brand name, and tried to find something else that would work without the huge price diff. The work specific gloves that you find at HomeDepot or Lowes looked great too but the cost is still twice what I pay. I don't wear them out but usually lose them on the trail (take themoff to wash the mud off the seat ,headlights etc.) and forget to put them back on!!!! lol Good Luck

Eh, whatever. All my paintball gloves just have a thin leather palm that gets to slick to properly operate the controls on a wet and muddy quad. Then again, I see you are a ute rider, so you never really have to deal with muddy handlebars like I do.
