Default Polaris " lock'n'ride " Rear Cargo Rack Bag

I bought this bag "Rear Cargo Rack Bag" here and when I got it home I find out that it uses velcro and plastic clips to hold it on and not the "lock'n'ride system as stated in the ad.
What a dissapointment

From the look of things I would say that only the hard plastic type would be lock n ride. Not sure but it makes sense to me.

That would be quite disappointing and yes, that ad is very misleading. I have the hard case and the Lock and Ride system is great. You should complain and send the thing back. There are plenty of good soft packs out there.

Send it back. It's clearly misinforming.

Does the lock and ride lock on tight and does it rattle or is it nice and quiet?

I have the hard box lock n ride. It has 2 plug locks. It would have been better with 4. If you ride hard it vibrates back and forth and wears spots in your rack. I have the MTV box on my expl. and it is a world better. The Pol. box has limited cap. It goes on and comes off quick though. You can't fit mutch in it. If you plan on leaving it on I'd go with an aftermarket that bolts down and locks.

Thanks bionic for the reply. I would not want it if it vibrates at all.

The rear cargo box will fit tight and not vibrate simply by installing the foam tape around the bottom outter edge that they use on pickup bed rails when installing a top....

The "locks" are designed to fit flush against the rack and do not allow for vertical adjustment. The truck foam is a bad idea if you ride hard. Did you actually do this or is it an Idea?
