Default Pictures of my new 03 sp700

Ok, traded my TB in for an 03 sportsman 700 twin for 3500$ on monday with 3000 miles on it and 200hrs.I stripped it compleatly in a hour to repainted everything because it was faded and beat to death but it runs good. Started painting on tuesday and picked red for color. Today i finished painting and put it all back together and now it looks like a different bike. I posted 4 pics of it (7,8,10,11) of when i got it(7), an hour later(8), when i started painting(10) and the finished product at 3:00AM on today(11). The bike looked like it was worth 3500 when i got it and i think it looks like that has changed. I have gotten 3 hours of sleep in 3 days because i am SO pumped about this thing.

This thing has a 800 header on it and a K&N air filer on it.Its VERY more powerful than my TB and lil more low end torque than my sp500. The bike is very powerful and pulls wheelies REAL easy in High and i had it all the way over almost scraping on the trailer hitch in Low.Im very happy to maybe get some sleep now and that this project is over in 3 days. tommorrow im going to take it to the dealer and show them what 50.00 dollars in spraypaint can do. I put 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of red and 3 coats of clear.

Just thought i should share my project with everyone.

Excellent Job, I like the color of the Racks with the red and black. Nice work!

Looks great!

Lol, I have also found that tire shine on atv's give a funny look - I just spray the whole tire, I figure any traction loss wouldn't last very long in the dirt before it wears off.

yah, i but i doubt tire shine would give you loss of traction in dirt but maybe on asphalt

Well I noticed he didn't spray the tread at all, just the sidewalls.

Did you paint around the stickers, or reapply them?

I was wondering the same about the decals, nice job either way!

I spray my whole quad down with the foam STP tire cleaner/shine.
The black plasics look like hell even after cleaning if you dont put somthing on like at least Armor All or wd40.
