Always something with this thin any guru's?
 

2004 sportsman 500 ,, it is having some serious electronic issues, now when I turn it over with the key it back fires and refuses to start
but one pull and she fires right up so I have no clue what is happening when you turn it over with the key brand new battery.
turn key on use pull cord she fires right up try using the electric starter and she just spits and farts. I am thinking its going to ground somehow when I turn it over with the starter ,, I checked for spark when using the starter and it has nice spark but like I said just backfires and spits , use pull cord and walla???????????????

Hello Mikediv, Check and clean all of your grounds. Sounds like one is bad and trying to rob from another.

I'd say look back around your battery cables......and the selionid(spelling?) cables. And even the starter cables. Just make sure eveything is tight.



Might be able to use a testlight to help you out too.......
