Default Is there a Rev limiter on sp800 efi?

I was wondering if there is a rev limiter on the 2005 sp800? Everytime i punch mine out in low i notice it feels like its hesitating and when i look down at the tach is around 5200 - 5400 rpms is this a limit? i havent been able to really hold it wide open cause i have been limited in riding space...thanx

the rev limiter is about 6600RPM

check your throttle cable if its loose, if you cant figure it out, take it back to the dealer :/
