yeah i have the same question, exept i already have the clamp on filter and my PP exhuast, my dealer is getting my jet-kit in thursday

I just did the K&N clamp on to go with my PP pipe and put a 175 jet in. I'm at about 1000 feet, and just had it up to 3000...runs guuuuuuuuuuud.

The jet kits were designed for the stock air box ,not a clamp on filter.Good luck

I don't get what you're saying there. Are you saying the jets in a kit won't be the right size if you use a clamp on?

Dyno-Jet has a Stage 1 and a Stage 3 set up in their jet kits. Stage one is for moderately moded predators with stock intake box with replacement filter and a good exhaust. stage 3 set up is for stock airbox removal and a good exhuast.

so stage 3 would be for a clamp on filter and an exhuast.

No one mentioned the bog down in 5th gear. Haven't ridden a yfz so I don't know the set up but that's the only down side that I've experienced.

yeah, you kinda have to hit 5th at high speed so you dont get a bog
