thanks to both of you. another question you have to ask yourself is weather you want to upgrade to ITP's 14" wheels. with mudlite XTR's and the 14" inch wheels they give a very sporty smooth feel while retaining the effectiveness of the mudlite. and they look kickass

Had 14's on my Polaris...had trouble with them, hated em, now I run 27x12 mud lite xtr radials and absolutely love em. Also they are a full inch and a half taller than the stock pxt's...more clearance!

I cant use the radials because i ride h/m alot. What problem did you have with the 14"? What sight can i go to and see mudlites on the 800? and different wheels.

Way too twitchy...they had such a short sidewall and flat top on em so they picked up on all road vibration. They look good though. I'll take some pics of my 700 with mud lites...it looks the same as an 800, just smaller motor.

Another thing you need to consider (as we’ve found out in the past month) the standard bias ply Mud Lites are AWFUL in the snow, whereas the XTRs are the best snow tire I’ve ever ridden. They’re also the best all-around riding tire I’ve ever tried too, and they’re no slouch in the mud. I’m comparing them to stockers, Bear Claws, Tri-Claws, Mud Runners, Kenda Executioners, 589s and Vampires (probably a couple I forgot). Haven’t tried the 14”, only the 12s x27. Excellent tire! If you’re looking for a quote email here.

Im with floodrunner on this one! I tested the 14's also but i liked the 12s better in the mud and trail. They were a softer ride. Im sure the 14's would be better though for fast riding but who rides fast on these big utilities.
