I just saw a Polaris Police 500 H.O. come out of a trail. It basically looked like a H.O., but instead of the sportsman sticker, it said "police" and had more lights on it. Anyone else see one of these? I wonder if it has the same setup as a regular H.O. Talk about an awesome job!

I hope I never see one....Where you have police on atv's you will eventually have police writing tickets for improper tail lights and the like....

Right behind my house is a decent size sand pits. For about 30 years (as long as my wife as been around) bikes, quads and trikes have always rode there. This past year, the owner brought the local boys a red polaris. I think it was a sportsman. But it has the lights and the "POLICE" stickers all over it.

They drive through my yard (I rent the 2nd floor of a house) to get to the town garage. A few times I have talked with them. Basically they just ride around having fun. A few times I have gone out to check their tracks and see just what they are doing. Them boys in blue are even trying to jump the quad out there. Must be fun to ride around on a free quad and get paid!

About 2yrs ago the Police in a section of our province got a couple of decked out Big Bears to patrol a portion of the T'Railway (900km linear parks that cuts across the province). This is a multi-use trail that is used by walkers, ATV, snowmobiles, horses and skiiers.

They don't patrol it very often, but when they do tickets are issued and things are pretty calm for a week or two.
