Myself personally I prefer the smaller places and dealing with the owner / salesman . Large dealerships impress me very little . I feel that I can get better service , warranty work , and better relations at the smaller shops . I don't mind leaning on a roto tiller and warming my hands by the woodstove while Mable fills out my paper work .

POLARIS SHOULD FOCUS ON THE DETAILS. MAKE THE MACHINE RUN SMOOTH AND LINEAR LIKE A KING QUAD. DITCH THE VIBRATOINS AND GADGET LIKE MECHANISMS. IMPROVE THE ERGO'S. LIKE THE RELATION FROM THE BARS TO THE SEAT, SLIM THE THINGS DOWN IN THE MID SECTION. LEAVE THE BIG RACKS THE WAY THEY ARE. MOVE THE GAS TANK BELOW THE SEAT. FOR A LOWER CENTER OF GRAVITY. THEY COULD LOSE SOME WIEGHT TOO! A 2" RECIEVER HITCH WOULD BE SWEET.

A Scrambler with IRS would be a great rocky trail machine.

How bout an atv with power steering? A work horse with hydrolic line hook ups like a tracter, attachments to run a 3 point hitch by hydrolics??? Make it appeal more to people who need them for farmers or landscapers. all that and still fit in the back of a pickup or an a small trailer. What yall think??

I agree with many of you Quality - and Fit and finish.

I owned a 95 Polaris XLT 600sp and it was VERY reliable and I loved it.
My friend bought a 95 Yamaha VMAX600 and there was no comparison with the fit and finish.
The Yamaha sounded better and looked sharper than the Polaris. The Yamaha had all the bells
and whistles with little or no vibration. Now the Polaris had the advantage on speed and ride comfort
over the big bumps with the 11 inch rear suspension, but fit and finish it fell behind.

Now I own a 05 Sportsman and an 05 Wolverine, Yamaha has come WAY down in their fit and finish and Polaris seems to have gone up but not up enough to justify the cost. ANd the vibration is STILL there!!!. The price hasnt changed too much though.

Polaris, make the quads smoother, sharper and cheaper and you'll dominate again.

I'm thinking a line of dirtbikes might be in order as well. They are now partnered with a very good dirtbike builder.

I agree with Fit and finish. Take care of the rattles and noises too.
The Quality is up there with most of the others IMO.

I would like to see the scrammy redone too. Offer a 2x4 and 4x4 versions that are more sporty, maybe with IRS and EFI...700/800 maybe...please!

If not make the outlaw in a 4x4 version too...maybe call it Scrambler SuperSport EFI.

Oh yeah while i'm at it a properly piped 400 2 stroke EFI TB, same chassis etc...
