Default Need wrecked Polaris 400 or engine
Hey guys, I believe I am gonna start on my project. I need a wrecked Polaris 400 Sport or Scrambler. What I mainly need is the bottom half of the engine. I travel alot back home from Oklahoma to Texas alot

What year Polaris 400 engine are you looking for? Also, which parts do you need exactly? Let me know I may have a bottom end from a 99 Sport 400 or Scrambler 400, I would have to check.

The engine that I am looking for came from a 1994 Polaris. I do believe that a 99 is the same engine, correct?

All of the Polaris 400 motors are the same. I just had to put a 97 motor on my 03 because i cracked both cases and split the jug in half.

The cylinders are different from a 96 and above. The previous years had a little different cylinder configuration but would still work on all years. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right Shawn, most of the pre 96 cylinders didn't have the boost ports on the side when looking in the reed cage area!
