I was just wondering about something guy's maybe you can help me.
If a guy has a 400 Sport with a trail port, HPD drag race clutch kit, 40mm carb, FTZ out of frame drag pipe, HPD billet 15.5 head and girdle.
And I have an HPD Race ported motor bored .20 over, a 39PWK carb, FTZ out of frame drag pipe, HPD drag race clutch kit, HPD 15.5 billet head.
Who would win in a 300ft drag race? Also would there be any horsepower difference in the two bikes?

There is a lot of variables involved but i would think the race port has more top end HP and speed .
Not sure in a short race like that.

you would have a 5-10hp advantage so I would tend to think you would win.

however horsepower isn;t everything if his bike is jetted correct for the day and your not he could close the gap. Also if his clutch/sprocket were setup real nice he could close the gap that way as well.

If it were me I would run him.
