i myself think it looks better without them. i always thought that they looked silly. i belive polaris stopped making them and putting them on when the SP800 came out. because it was coverd with the wheel, it wasnt neccisary to produce them.
better keep a can of wd-40 around,if you don't might be a little hard getting the nut off!!!!!!!

Default axles hanging out hawkeyes

I can tell you why they removed the rubber covers from the castle nuts....cause you lose them anyway!! I harescrambled an 03 predator and after the first race both caps had flown off or gotten rubbed off by trees. No sense raising the price of the machine $10 more than it needs to be!!

true,but you ain't going to be racing a utility like the hawkeye......... wayout, out, " lifes good "

With the wheel offset they would stick out and get knocked off, there not needed anyway. As for the Predator they can be added on, the front hubs have the groove to hold them and the rear just needs a large flat washer under the hub nut to hold them on.....
