Default Resurrecting an old Trail Boss

Hi folks. I'm a Jeep guy, but I have a 1989(?) Trail Boss 250 4x4 that's been sitting out at the farm for a few years, and I've just got a craving to start it back up. It hasn't been started in about... I'd say three to five years. Either way, it's been a long time. I know it needs shocks front and rear, so where can I get these? I'm sure the carb will need cleaning/rebuilding, so how can I go about doing this? What should I check on the oil injection system, how can I change the oil, and how much oil does it hold? Finally, anything else I should do to it?

The best thing you can do with a 89 250 4X4 trail boss is let it sit where it is.

You are going to spend a fortune on that thing trying to get it in good shape.

You can buy you a decent quad for what you will spend on that POS.

There is a lot of difference between a 94 two wheel drive and a 89 4X4.

there is not that much difference, but if u r goin to do all that do wat he said, ebay is the only way out without wasting 2ooo on new parts, the carburation is easy and the oil is under the skid plate (if it still has one) its the same as a car, little bolt and it holds bout 1 1/2 liters, rest i do not kno. sorry
