Got the chance to test ride an Outlaw. All I can say is WOW.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] I was able to run it at top speed across an old grass farm. You know the type with grass clumps and dips and stuff. It flew across like butter. I wish there had been trails close by, but I don't know of a sport atv that will compare. It is a milestone in the design of ATVs. Those guys who are getting sore backs and knees will be flocking to this machine. If you're one of those guys TRY IT. I can't wait to see the doors this one ATV will now open.

 

what do you think is the top speed of the outlaw????? i cant find this awnser anyplace

 

I wish I could help you out there. No speedo on them. I'm sure it's going to be in that 65 to 70 range.

 

i recieved the 2006 Polaris Performance broshure in the mail a few weeks back, and the outlaw's final drive gearing was in there listed as was the predator's. Since i'm at work right now, i don't have it handy, but i did do a quick ratio calculation then and (i'll check tomorow to make sure this is correct...) but if i remember correctly, final drive ratios we such that assuming the Predator has a top Speed of 74-76, the outlaw's top speed will be 70-72. i think. The top gear is really not all that much lower than the Pred's.

SPEAKING OF THE OUTLAW, THERE HAS BEEN ONE AT MY LOCAL DEALER FOR A MONTH NOW, THE BEST THEY WILL DO ON IT IS $6699 +TAX/TAGS? IS THAT A DEAL? I SEEM TO THINK THEY COULD DO BETTER.......
