Default 250 spring and weight combination

Well the cylinder for the 250 went out for boring and porting. In the mean time the primary clutch needs some attention. RCR recomended an HPD red/yellow, along with 10-58 weights. Anyone ever run this combination on a 250 before? Other factor to be considered, the head is being milled .030. It has a 34mm mikuni round slide. Stock secondary spring set 2-2. Rear sprocket is a 38t, and I have an 11t, 12t, 13t fronts to choose from. Rear tires are 22x11x10, oh and I guess I should say I will be trying to dial it in for 300ft. drags.
Thanks, Doc .
The racer will be my 115lb 13yr old son

You havent said what pipe you are using but if it is Ricks or HPD that is the correct setup. You may want to get a Polaris gold secondary to complete the kit like HPD sells.

It's the factory pipe off an 87 cyclone, Rick didn't make any comments good or bad on the pipe selection. I'm assumming it will be ported to match the pipe.

I would go with a newer pipe such as HPD or one of Ricks. The Cyclone pipe is a performance pipe but a new one would be lighter and may be a better design.

FTWFLH, I'm running a 92 trailboss chassis. The run what you have concept. I think Aaen's torquer pipe is all I can get for the machine. Also only paid 75.00 for the pipe. It also has the inch and one quarter outlet so I can use a good silencer.
