2000 polaris scrambler with hpd mods-have questions
I'm running the stock gearing, matter of fact looking for a new sprocket chain kit right now, but will still stay with the stock gearing.
Don't you need to be concerned running it too lean when you remove the airbox lid??? I wouldn't do that in anything but hot humid weather without rejetting.
Thunder products offers TPI Adjustable Air Valves and TPI Low Boy adjustable intake valves . www.thunderproducts.com
Dune is that RcR airbox mod with the third Ventura?
Yours on the wife's bike looks as if it would work well.
I'm still running the stock airbox as its usually wet and muddy around MI, somehow always dusty too!
Jim
Airbox mod…
Cut a hole in the middle of the two pre-existing air venturas' (while not cutting too far to go through the splash guard) , then put a 3rd Ventura in there.
Then cut off the top rib of the snorkel, and put a 2.5" PVC pipe in there.

Yeah Jim that's the one I'm talking about...I just wanted more air and thought it could use it...I'm still running a 270 main even with the airbox cut out like that... If you are gonna go riding in mud or water then just put the rubber snorkle back on and don't go any higher than that and you'll be fine.
