Anyone have any problems with there fans making lots of noise. I took mine off to see what's up and can't find anything. It just started to make lots of noise this weekend. When I turn the fan by hand backwards it makes a thicking noise. That can't be normal. I set it up on a batt charger to let it run for a while and still the same. Even put a little wd40. I guess back to the shop again and again.

 

Maybe some small rocks in there. gravel sand

 

The noise does not sound like that thought. It sounds like a metal ticking noise when turned backwards. I don't realy think that rocks can get stuck in there so long.

 

mine clicks when u turn it backwards so its perfectly normal...its just the bearings in it

 

Well it is only 7 months old. How can the bearing be shot already. It looks tight and all. I guess I'm going to sell it. I had all the problems you can think of with this one. Never had problems with any other of you polaris atv's. It seems every couple of weeks there is something else. That is it for me with polaris. I guess I'm going to try arcticat next. At least they have a real warrenty.

 

My brother has an Arctic Cat. He liked it alot until he started having problems. You might wait on hold for a while with Polaris, but with Arctic Cat they have a recording that says, "Contact your dealer." then hangs up. I'm not saying Arctic Cat is worse than Polaris, I was just looking for a brand you can call and talk to a person. Sorry to hear about your ongoing problems. So far so good with my 500EFI since the stall fix. You know how hard it is to ride with your fingers crossed?
