I agree with you that the SP500 is a very good trail quad. That is why bought one. Jimmyp, you make a good point about the IRS and sliding around corners. That is impressive that with your mods the 500 still hangs with you to 40mph.

 

You can easily powerslide a sportsman around turns. When we ride I do it all the time, Gets the other oncoming wheelers scared when they see a sp500 sideways going around a turn. One the best wheelers I have ridin so far that goes in mud, water, snow, holes, ditches, trees(dont ever try it!) and trails. I still like it better for some things better than my scrammy, But I love that scrammy because its fast and loud and handles awsome too-not the best handling tho.
