If the submited the application this year I'd not expect to see it until 08. If it was approved this year it might make it onto the 07s but I'd expect a late arrival. Just my .02

It does list the hp for each motor. That is pretty cool. 48 for the pre/law.

It has them for the other brands if you look for them.

New 680 rincon......42. HA! Compare that to some of the others. BRP/Can Am 650......55

The file date was oct 15 2003....The granted patent date is july 2006.
I'm not an expert on this just a educated guess.

I guess that pretty well kills the idea of a larger displacement 800 spt coming out. The arb cert by Polaris only lists a 760cc engine for the 07 sportsman and x2 aghhhhh

The figures given to arb by the manufacturers for HP are traditionally low as the insurance industry also watches these publications. For instance the spt 800 is listed at 50 hp. We know they are more like 56-58 from published dynos. The bad news about that is if Bombardier follows that model, the BRP 800 is listed at just over 61 hp, and if that is low it is impressive power. I'll still take my spt 800 at this point since at least my clutches will stay dry in water which might be important for a ute. I know I know they SUPPOSEDLY fixed that but 60+ hp with wet clutches, I want to see that spinner.
