good things to say about your polaris
I have had 4 Polaris ATVs, 01 magnum (sold to my dad), 97 sp500 (traded in for the next), 04 sp600 (still have, but will try and sell it), and now 06 spX2. Have not had any problems other than really bad abuse (97 sp500 had a 4" lift kit and 27" 589s, and I busted the front cv and rear ujoints a few times playing in big mud holes). My first dealer was really good until I had the 97' and they kept screwing up the non refundable parts that I would bring in for them to look at just so they could order the wrong part and I would have to pay double, losers. But then I found Van Wall Equipment and they took care of me, so well infact that they hired me to sell John Deere tractors and Polaris atvs. I have never had any problems, and the kind of problems that I see in the service dept is stupid stuff, lack of care for property, Hardcore abuse and inexperience. I try to educate each of my customers on the proper use and safety of ATVs. I just wish I had more time to ride with more of them.

With just shy of 6000miles and 460hrs on my 04 500HO I have nothing but good to say about my Sportsman. Like someone else here mentioned maintenance is the key. Mine has not been back to the dealer since the 10hr check up and I would buy anotherone in a heartbeat.....
