500 ho sportsman speed help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Gord, about time you registered on this forum. From the information available it looks like your speedo is toast. The problem most likely stems from the speedo allowing moisture to enter the housing. On mine there is condensation visible on the inside of the speedo glass, Polaris speedos are notoriously bad for this.
Good luck

500 ho sportsman speed help!!!!!!!!!!!!
wait a minute, the sensor controls the 4wd???? Crap i didnt know that, after I wrecked my wheeler and redid it i tried to get the speedo to work since it has now not worked since 3 years ago, I tried other pickups from another wheeler at the shop and it didnt work so i kinda didnt put one back on- ever since the wreck the 4wd has been f'ed up, it only works onone wheel about 10% of the time and it turns on when it wants to even if the switch is off, so thats cuzz of the wheel speed sensor?? I know for sure the speedo is toast. Brian
