When I bought an 03 Sportsman 700 I got the extended warranty, I sold the quad so can I turn the warranty into Polaris for a refund? Thought I read that someplace, and I never used it. Thanks.

 

I'd also check to see if it was a transferable warranty. Not might be much help now that you've sold it, unless you know the person you sold it to.

 

You can transfer the warranty to the buyer or you can turn it in for a prorated refund. If you transfer it to the buyer you must supply maintenance records or GE Capital ( warranty provider) won't approve the transfer. If you want to turn it in for a refund call GE Capital. Check the last page of the warranty papers for the number to call. I think they are located in Colorado.

I forgot about the warranty when I sold the quad so when I was going thru the folder I see the thing and then remembered that someplace someone said it could be turned in for a refund. I will read the thing thru and call as suggested and I paid like $1000 for it. Thanks.

I bought an '04 SP500 and it came with a free extended warranty. I think it was good for a year. When I sold the ATV, I read the back of the agreement and found it was only transferable through a DEALER and wasn't cancellable.

So I gave it to the folks that bought the ATV from me and told them if they had a warranty claim to just to put the claim through in my name. I'm sure the transfer fee isn't cheap.
