Has anybody running these tires experienced the front end shaking violently at speeds over 40mph, I have them mounted on the series 7 rims and when I get up to 40 and over the handle bars shake quite a bit, just wondering if maybe I have a screwed rim or tire on my front end, just picked up my new 07 800 stealth last week and finally got it out for a ride and can't go to fast because of the shaking, it makes the quad start to wander all over.

you have a problem some where for sure. i have 27" xtr's on my 800 w/ the same rims and over 60 mph no vibrating. is one of the tires bad maybe? if its new i cant imagine having front end problems is everything tight? who mounted the tires on the rims and on the bike, are they on right. just a few idears. if anything i would take it to the dealer and let them know very its brand new.

Balance the tires, spin balance to correct the static and dynamic imbalance. I had the same issue with the stock tires on my 800, the factory balance was only for static and I had major dynamic balance problems (bar shake). You need proper weight placement near both tire beads to correct this...

The front end of my machine feels very light at high speeds (40+ MPH). The whole machine vibrates a little but that is what I expect I guess.
The XTRs are a little heavier than the PXTs but other than that they don't feel much different once you are above 25mph or so.
I don't know about balancing tires on a 4 wheeler - mine is constantly slaming into rocks , treees etc so even if the tires were balanced it would only last for so long. It might be necessary for higher speed runs on pavement?
