500 HO won't idle
 

I have a 2004.5 500 HO that kills when stopped even when warm. Then I purchased a 2006 500 EFI and it does the same thing and it only has 50 miles on it. I haven't gone back to the dealer yet but anyother ideas?

Just had my '04 Sportsman 500 in for same thing. Had to disassemble the carb, there was a chunk of junk in one of the jets. That is not necessarily your problem. You should take your 06 back to the dealer as it is most likely covered by warrenty.

If they kill when throttle lever is fully closed, they may just need a freeplay adjustment. If the efi is an early build 06, the ecu may need reflashing.
