A TRIKE something like a Polaris Back in the 80's??

Does anybody know what this could have been?
I had this trike when I was growing up. It was a 350 or a 340(I think) and it was the weirdest name I ever heard of for a name brand. I think it was something like husqvarna but I dont thinks thats it, I think it might of started with S. Sasquach or something? It had a lever down buy the floorboard that was forward reverse nuetral. YES REVERSE? It had twist throttle it was something like a polaris would be, just gas and go. It was black, it had a rack on the back. it was a pretty beefy machine. Anyway I was young like 10 maybe and my dad used to wheel and deal all kinds of stuff on the farm and some how we aquired this machine. So I would try to ride it, me and my brother he was 11 or so and we used to flip it up on the racks all the time and fall off and my dad was scared we would get hurt and we werent really aloud to ride it much. Then itgot stolen along with a fourtrax 250 and the neighbors truck.....lol...and that was the end of them. Thats what I can remember. I was just wandering if someone would know what it was cause I just wanted to read up on it and reminisse a little.
It would of been around 1985 whaen they were stolen so Id say we got this trike around 83-85 and it seemed rather new- newer?

Polaris did make a 3-wheeler back around that time. I believe it was called a Cyclone. They only made it for 2 years, I think. The engine size, as I remember, was a 250cc. Same engine that is in the 250 Trailblazer. I have an old service manual somewhere that had it in it. I'll have to look around to see if I can find it.

The Polaris Scrambler 3Wheeler was a 244cc 2 stroke. It featured a belt driven variable automatic transmission with reverse, much like todays Polaris's. It weighed 380lbs and Sold for $1,968.00 American new. It also got to a amazing speed of 45mph!

Hey BadAssScrambler500,
I think I know what you are talking about. It has a clutch like on the Polaris' but was not a Polaris. When I was a kid in Iowa in the 80's our neighbors had one. I remember it used to run quite fast down the road when it was new and got slower after a couple of years. If I remember right it had the key on the left side along with a toggle switch for the headlight, which seemed to be a regular tractor light if I remember correctly. One thing I do remember it sat higher than the Honda 3-wheelers and was less stable because I dumped it over in the ditch one night busting snow drifts and hit my head on a fence post. I think it was kind-a ugly in my opinion if I remember right. Have never seen one since or even a picture of one.
