Can someone walk me through how to remove the starter on a 04 500HO, without pulling of the primary clutch. How many bolts are holding it on and where are they located. Thanks for any help.

 

ya know to tell u the truth i dont know about the sportsmen but with the trailblazers u cant take the starter off with out takeing the primary off cause theres a bolt ontop of the starter that u cant get to from the bottom side of the bike at least taht is the way mi tb i set up

 

Type in starter in the search catagory and you will get all the information you will ever need, but to make it easy you will need to remove the clucthes and the shroud that seperates the clutches and motor to gain access to bolts or you can fight with them and the bracket and try to do the job without removing primary and secondary.
