On my 250 trail blazer the black fitting has a hose that goes to the oil injection. Hope this helps

Really? My oil injection comes in from the left side of the carb through a clear hose. I thought the 250 was the same but it must be different.

do u have the throttle wide open when u do your compression test, if not, try that and see if it goes up, thats what they teach us at MMI, if it's the same, then it is prolly a carb problem

dont they teach you to have a cold engine, and hold the throttle wide open and crank it on the 2 strokes? i was always told theat gives the true readings.

That is what I did. I had a cold engine (since I can't start it there is no way to have a warm engine! LOL) and I held the throttle open to get my reading. That is what I've always been told is the way to do it.

I still don't think it's a compression issue though. I think I need to find out where my hoses go and I'll be all set.
Does no one out there have a mid-late '90s 250, 300 or 400 that they can look at for me?
