thanks olds. pull out the plug and take a look. see if its running white or black. seems like its running extremly lean. just a guess.

i pulled the plugs out and it like charcoal black what does that mean

Black and carbonized means it is rich somewhere. First I would go through the obvious things, make sure the filter is freshly cleaned and what not. If the airbox lid is on, then see if taking it off makes a difference. Try and put the choke on once it is warmed up. If she is rich on the pilot or mixture screw, this should make things worse.

by any chance do you have water in the gas. it would account for the skipping and back firing. just a thought.

no water i used the gas treatment stuff and keep gas in room tempature o and by the way i took the air filter out and it was wicked dirty i replaced it runs fine ty

Yup, always good to look at the easy things first. I am glad it runs good now, make sure to keep the filter cleaned in the future though, those top ends can get expensive otherwise[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
