Is it posible to take a polaris 400 2 stroke out of my xplorer and put in a 4 stroke?
and can you inter change frontends off of xplorers and Sportsmans?

 

I think the sportsman engines bolt right in. But dont quote me.

 

dont know about the enignes but just lookd up the front ends for 01's and there the same.

 

Do you want 2- stroke go to 4-stroke? I'd go to 425 or 500 and 500 ho you need modifition bolt mount size and weld parts too.

Do you want be a fast go to 500 ho! If you want be go slow go to 425 4-stroke. What wrong with your on 400 2-stroke?

 

2 strokes smoke alot and are a little loud for my taste. I picked this quad up for a good price form a buddy. Don't get me wrong it is a nice quad, looks good and runs great, so I may never do any Magor Mods to it. I was just curious, incase I wanted to do some Mods, what my options were. And with the frontend, I happen to like the 2001 sportsman frontend much better.
