SP400 or SP500HO
#21
Hey guys (greg & Thor) ... take it outside before it gets too messy :-)
Seriously though most of the comments here have made sence. The SP400 has more hp than the SP335 and we all know that the maximum OEM tire size on Polaris are 25s.
Where my X400 has a solid rear axle I am quite familiar and happy with that ride. If the Magnum ride is the same ... great, if the SP ride is much better ... I can't wait to try one out. When Judie and I were initially shopping for quads we chose the X400 because of the smooooooth ride. All other brands rode like tanks.
The majority of our riding is <30mph as we ride two-up and mostly do tight trails and mud. I mostly need the power at the low end to help me climb over the log or out of a mud hole.
When the new year rolls around I expect Judie and I will be testing the Magnum, SP400 and SP500HO. BUT as the saying goes . . . there is no replacement for displacement.
Thanks for the posts guys . . . have a great christmas.
