srwshooter, that looks pretty good to me. If I had a longer trailer, I would go the same route. As it is, I get a little bit of trailer rash on the quads.

Is that some rubber attached to the square steel tubing? Screwed or glued on?

no its not rubber, UHMW , which is the toughest plastic known to man . i have a jetboat part business ,we use UHMW on the bottom of our jetboats . when you hit a rock it will just slide right off . they also use this stuff to line the beds of big dumptrucks ,it indestuctable almost .
i had some scraps laying around so i riveted it on so it wouldn't get scratched up .

the bottom mounts are made from 1 1/2 x3in box it takes 2 pieces 14in long ,bolted thru the bed with ss bolts. the bumper is 1 1/4 tubing with 1/8sidewall ,i made the bumper 42in and the arms 20in . i think it works great tilting with the bed.

Nice clean job! I had a different design in mind, but as long as it serves the purpose, then you're set! Good idea with the UHMW as well.

On a different note... You're 4-wheeler is TOO clean!!!
