I know a couple people including myself in the past wanted to know how to drill out a carb slide...

I made a quick page on how to do it. I did both of my Hawkeyes, and it helped.

To be honest, I forget the size drill bit I used....

Just take your bits and see which one fits in the existing hole, then use that one. That's what I did.

I've done this mod several times, reason I ask about bit size was just wondering if anyone had drilled larger holes. On my Predators I went to two 1/8" vac ports but haven't tried that yet on a Hawkeye.....

Hehe, seeing as it was my first time, I wanted to make an 'equal' hole on the opposites side. I'm not brave (nor experienced) enough to fiddle more than that.

I'm happy with the results I have.
