I was in a car wreck last week, looks like a broken vertebrae in my neck. Looks like no ATV riding for several months. CRAP. Just bought a 07 Sportsman 800 x2 dlx in August.

Looks like bow hunting is out for this year, keeping my fingers crossed for gun season.

Hey man there is nothing more important than your OWN health.
Really, do whatever it takes to rehab and get better. I can understand
your disappointments. I just got an 08' 800 and have to wait another
week to ride, its been 2 weeks, itching itching itching.

BUT, count your blessings too, wow a neck injury, thank God it wasn't
something worse, you know what I mean, get well quick, and enjoy your
07 ride buddy!

Oh I feel very lucky. Was going about 50, hit the windshield (face first into the rear view mirror). Other than the neck injury.. sprained right ankle, strained ligaments in knee and elbow, cuts to face, and to top it off broken nose. Spent 8 hours on a back board in the ED and still have to wear a neck collar (try sleeping with one of those on)

On the good side, it wasn't worse, and I'm still here to be w/my wife and kids.

Get well soon. Sorry to hear about your riding and bow season being shot. I would cry like a little girl, if I couldn't bow hunt.

my best wishes for a speedy recovery and no long term ill effects. i saw a girl from mass. hit a guard rail fri about 65 to i could just imagine the helpless feling of no control. take care, and dont press the recovery w/ early riding [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
