Default 2004 sportsman 600 no start/electrical/battery/lights?

Hey there polaris experts. I have a 600 twin 2004. always been a great machine. The other day when I went to go use it nothing turns on. I use my machine weekly or daily. Worked fine 2 days ago. One day there was an indicator light coming on saying like low battery when I was using the winch. So once I found out after putting it away that when I turn the key I get nothing. No lights, the pod does not light up, and there is no sign of a starter trying to start. I replaced the battery today however have the same results yet. But the horn and winch work due to being wired direct. Can anyone please help me. I would sure appreciate a home solution rather than shop repair costs.

K not familiar with your machine but did lights come on before? without engine runnin'? if not could possibly be solenoid? easy to check two big terminals on solenoid one from + on Batt. other to starter just use a screw driver or something to connect them (SHORT) to see if it cranks? Dennis

Ya. That would be a good BET!! only other thing it could be? is your push button for the starter. to check that u need a volt ohm meter put on ohms if you touch the two probes from the meter together the meter will peg (ref.) so if you disconnect the wires from the push button to solenoid meter between wires push button meter pegs then yes should be solenoid

I thought I had it figured out.
I replaced the solenoid as I thought it was bad.
same result again stuff wired direct like horn and winch work. I have no lights, ignition, and no pod instruments.
I then replaced the key switch and again same result as the start of this. Nothing
I have tried
New battery
Tried new solenoid
Tried new key switch
still nothing for ignition, lights, pod instruments.
Only horn and winch work wired direct.
Please help again what else could I do?

I know this was from a long time ago, so hopefully you get this. But I am having the same issue. I have replaced the battery, key switch, solenoid, and the kill switch. Did you find a solution to this? Please get back to me if you did. Thanks
